Greetings,
The IEEE Board of Directors has approved this Milestone plaque:



We are pleased to announce that the plaque and its Hebrew translation are to be placed at Intel's Israel Development Center (IDC) in Haifa, Israel, with an unveiling ceremony Sunday September 14th, 2025. The ceremony will be a small event at IDC, conducted largely in Hebrew. Among the attendees will be several members of the silicon design team of the late 1970s.



 Intel's local save-the-date graphic indicates several notable speakers. Also on the list is a name known to many recipients of this note. Rafi Nave was the project lead of the 8087 silicon design team.



This dedication comes a year after the 50th anniversary of IDC, making it a perfect opportunity for Intel and the local hosts give warm thanks to everyone who contributed to the fabulous success of the 8087 Math Coprocessor.  .- Arik Shemer, organizer and master of ceremonies arik.shemer at intel.com arikiis at gmail.com
