FYI - meeting 225 in October 2021 will be virtual.

If committee members liked the Mon+Tues split week format from meeting
223 (and to be repeated at 224), then we could do it again at 225, or
we could pick another pair of days if there is a strong preference for
that.

If you have a strong opinion about picking a pair of days other than
Mon+Tues for meeting 225, please share them either here or with me
privately by *Friday, April 2*. Otherwise I will pick Monday+Tuesday
again, so the dates for 225 would be Oct 11-12, 18-19.

To the INCITS Community –



The INCITS Executive Board met recently and discussed meeting
logistics for INCITS related meetings.



We realize that the committees are looking forward to returning to
face-to-face meetings, however, with the coronavirus situation
changing frequently, the decision has been made that all INCITS
related meetings shall be virtual through December 31, 2021.



A decision regarding meetings for the first quarter of 2022 will be
discussed at the Executive Board fall meeting. If there are any
committees that may be planning to hold face-to-face or hybrid
meetings in the first quarter of 2022, please provide this information
to me as soon as possible.



Chairs are asked to ensure that their committee calendar details are
up-to-date to reflect virtual meetings only.



Note: This message has been sent to all members via an announce-only
mailing list. Questions should be directed to the INCITS Secretariat.

As a reminder, the frequency of the virtual meetings should be such as
to allow committees to be productive and conduct business sufficient
to meet the workload. Please keep in mind the requirements for posting
meeting notices and agendas, as excerpted below from the INCITS
Organization, Polices and Procedures:

5.1.2        Meeting Notice and Draft Agenda

Meeting notices for all IOEs, except Ad Hocs, shall be distributed no
later than four weeks prior to face-to-face meetings and no later than
two weeks prior to electronic meetings. All meeting notices shall be
posted and distributed using the committee calendar in ICMS. The draft
agenda for all IOEs, except Ad Hocs, shall be distributed no later
than two weeks prior to the meeting.
