FWIW there is some discussion of modules as template parameters at https://github.com/j3-fortran/fortran_proposals/issues/74 <https://github.com/j3-fortran/fortran_proposals/issues/74> and in Van Snyder’s 04-383r1.pdf. I strongly suspect that it wouldn’t be as useful as Peter Klausler and Van Snyder hope.
