Yes, I also want to voice that it's better to wait and do it right, than putting a feature in the language that does not have a strong consensus. Also, one of the huge advantages of Fortran, compared to some competition, is that it is a simple language. By adding features, we are slowly losing this advantage. And so if we do put a new feature in, it should rather be a feature that has a community consensus and is a strong new feature that outweighs the negative cost of making Fortran bigger.
