I would note that UTI-017 included the issue of C_CHAR = -1 for the C_F_STRPOINTER procedure and the following sentence was added to the end of the description:
"If C_CHAR has the value −1, indicating that there is no C character kind, the generic subroutine C_F_ STRPOINTER does not have any specific procedure.”
A similar sentence could be added to F_C_STRING.
Also note that corrections that are intended to be in the F20fX draft should be submitted in papers written against 21-007.pdf for the meeting next month (meeting 223).
