Hi folks,

There is a new working document available, 20-007.pdf

Please update any edits you are working on to use the new document, not
18-007r1.

(The latter is still active but only for Interpretation processing.)

At the time of writing, 20-007 is only available from the Edit folder of the
Meeting Files section of the J3 web site, so you will need to be logged in
with your J3 credentials to get it. I expect it will become available from
the normal Documents folder for meeting 220 shortly.

There are 17 Unresolved Technical Issues. UTIs are listed in standing
document 20-011. This document is for information, but I would ask all
subgroup heads to check which UTIs belong to their subgroup, and schedule
appropriate action. Although the primary task of meeting 222 is finishing
the unfinished features, we should aim to at least clear some of the UTIs,
as doubtless more will surface in the process of adding the new papers
coming out of meeting 222.

BTW, UTIs are also indexed in the 007 under ZZZUTInnn, so they are all at
the very end of the index (this gives a quick way to find a particular one
without text-searching).

The editor's report is paper 20-134, and is information for all members.
Anyone who wonders what happened to their edits and why should take a look
at this paper, which is also full of comments and suggestions from the
editor. The paper itself is not subject for action, but there may be many
papers inspired by the editor's (possibly misguided) comments.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their hard work
in producing the edits papers so far, and to apologise for the lateness of
the availability of the updated working draft. I had set myself a deadline
of the beginning of September, however, unluckily some other deadlines took
precedence, and so here we are.

Cheers,

--
