It is humbling and an honor to be appointed to the PL22.3 Chair
position. Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. I have
enjoyed getting to know you all over the last few years, and am
excited about the future of the committee and the Fortran language.
The diversity of perspectives, experiences, guidance, and wisdom that
each of you bring to the committee are essential to Fortran's success,
and I look forward to working with you.
