Indeed - I’m a bit amused that the times work out such that Malcolm is actually the one that will be meeting at least partially during normal business hours. (Presuming 8 AM - 9 AM are normal business hours in Japan - possibly an unwarranted assumption on my part.)
Cheers,
- Tom

Oh, I see, I copied the times from Bill’s CDT line...
So it’s an hour later, i.e.
BST 10pm to 1am
JST 6am to 9am
That’s certainly better for me.
Cheers,

I always get confused with these time zones unless they’re specified as offsets from UTC (the international standard for time).
So, EDT is apparently UTC-4:00, so EDT 16:00-19:00 would be UTC 20:00-23:00.
BST is UTC+1:00, so that’s BST 21:00-24:00 (for those in the UK) i.e. 9pm to midnight.
Japan is UTC+9:00, so (mod 24h) that’s 05:00-08:00 (for those in Japan) i.e. 5am to 8am.
Ouch. Did I get the timezone right? Did I do my sums correctly?
I guess I can handle it, especially if it lets John Reid, or anyone else from the UK who wishes to, to participate.
Cheers,
