I agree that the order in which finalizations are performed
for the components of an object of derived type is
confusing.  I think the most desirable fix is too big for
an interp.  (I think that the best fix requires a time
machine.)  For the interp, I agree with the small fix for
the obvious problem (multiple finalizations).  I think the
committee should pursue a better fix in the upcoming
revision of the standard (202x).
