Dear,
Certainly, I don't have your knowledge and skills in Fortran. However, I
consider this message a bit offensive for the community involved in GitHub.
The community on GitHub (or at least I) tries to help Fortran development,
and such messages are not really motivating.
In my field, I am one of the last few young programmers that regularly
write Fortran programs. Others have switched to C/C++, Julia,.... and don't
want to learn Fortran. I could have followed this path too. However, I hope
that I am not part of the last generation of Fortran programmers in my
field. I believe that approaches such as on GitHub could ensure that.
Yours sincerely,
Jeremie
