Can you please explain why you strongly disagree with this claim?

Vipul explained why it makes no sense to him above to have private enumerators (as opposed to private enum), his argument is convincing, and I have not seen similar arguments why we really want private enumerators. In addition, I am not aware of another language having private enumerators.

I would like to learn what the arguments are for private enumerators.
