[J3] (SC22WG5.6034) Fortran geezer reunion - May update

Hello all -

One months to go !!   This is the May 2018 update for the June 9-10, 2018, Fortran geezer reunion in Berkeley, CA. 

There are two changes from the update I sent last month. First, it turns out that Walt Brainerd can’t come after all. Loren Meissner, who was a member of X3J3 before Fortran 77 was finalized, will take Walt’s place on the agenda and talk about the early days of Fortran standardization. The Sunday morning meeting agenda is attached below. The morning should go from the earliest days of J3 until the very latest update.

Second, it looks like we’ll be closer to 30 than 20 for Sunday evening dinner, so I think the restaurant will want to treat us as a group. That means a fixed price for everyone, probably around $50 plus 30% each. Let me know if that is a problem for you.

Also attached is a recent list of hotel registrants, although I know of a couple of geezers who are coming but are not on this list. And there will be several WG5 members that are not staying at the hotel. As best I can tell at this time there will be six or seven spouses/guests that probably will not go to the Sunday morning meeting but will be part of the museum tour and meals.
