The WG5 transportation survey results are available at the following link:

With the possible exception of the Wednesday dinner, I don’t think the responses show sufficient interest to justify the shared van or bus at the cost one drive has quoted: $75/hr (the same driver will take Geezer meeting attendees to the Computer History Museum).   I believe carpooling, public transportation, taxis, or ride-sharing services make the most sense.  

For the Wednesday social, two survey respondents are renting cars and expressed a willingness to take passengers.  I will have my car and can take passengers, and possibly I can recruit one or two other local attendees to do the same if necessary.  I will also provide information for getting to the dinner via public transportation or taxi or ride-sharing.
