Hi Damian,
I tried the web page registration and got:
Sorry, the property is not accepting reservations during these dates.
Please try again.
Do you know when they start accepting reservations for next summer?
Cheers,
Bill

Attached please find booking instructions. If we fill these rooms, I will inquire about the possibility of blocking aside additional rooms so please make your reservations early. The block of rooms is being held from the Friday before the meeting to accommodate those who would like to attend the geezers meeting. The block is held until the Sunday after the meeting for those who will stay for the weekend after the meeting.

Based on my research from a few months ago, it would be challenging to find housing of comparable quality that is below the government per diem rate, which is $161/night for 2016. If anyone does plan to stay off-site, feel free to pass your options by me for feedback.

Based on that discussion, we believe it?s simplest to have the geezers meeting off-site to avoid the escorting requirements that would be imposed on the meeting attendees if we were to use LBNL meeting rooms on the weekend. I will write later with details on the geezers meeting.
