Maplesoft 2017.1 added units support as a result of JPL users' requests:

I am happy to announce that Maple 2017.1 is now available to install.
There are number of bug fixes and improvements over Maple 2016.

A couple new features inspired by requests from JPL users are the new
Units:-Simple package which makes manipulating equations with variables
and units much easier....
