Subject: (j3.2006) Neil Carlson's question in comp-fortran-90

Neil Carlson asked a question in comp-fortran-90 which boils down to
"Should the result of SAME_TYPE_AS really be processor dependent if the
dynamic types are intrinsic?"

I can understand that a processor might not be able to give a definitive
answer whether an unlimited polymorphic object that has a dynamic type
that is a sequence type has the same type as another object. But
there's no excuse for not being able to tell the difference between
intrinsic types.
