It is US TAG specific, but Bill is correct that Stan wrote and posted the
US TAG minutes. In fact, he usually wrote them in advance, though while I
was IR I did insist that the meetings last longer than 30 seconds... While
there is no longer a need for someone specifically designated as IR,
someone does need to preside over US TAG meetings and write the minutes. I
had thought Dan was going to preside, at least. Since INCITS most recently
wanted the TAG minutes folded into the J3 minutes, it would make sense for
the J3 secretary to take the minutes. The agenda and minutes style can be
copied from earlier meetings, as well as the format for votes such as is
wanted here.
This vote is a bit interesting. Last year we approved automatic approval of
a standard we created, but if I understand this correctly INCITS wants us
to explain (again?) why we dropped part 2 of the standard
(ISO_VARYING_STRINGS)
