What's false?  That Bill wants it?  That more general mechanisms already
exist?  That I've seen a technical reason for it?  The only reason I've
seen is for optimization, and that problem can be solved by existing
mechanisms, as I demonstrated in 15-131r1.

Reasonable?  I don't understand how we can simultaneously conclude that
we must have a milquetoast development agenda because developers are
overburdened with what we've already put into the standard, and we need
to add a facility that duplicates existing functionality, as an
irregular special-purpose widget that preserves Fortran's frequently
maligned "tacked on look."

Why can't Bill explain why we need this duplication in a civilized and
rational way, instead of insulting me for pointing it out?
