(j3.2006) num_images() ?

I think num_images description does anticipate these circumstances. A
stopped image is an image. A failed image is an image. NUM_IMAGES returns
the number of images, not the number of active images. Therefore it
includes stopped and failed images.

This is also not a new situation, we've have stopped images since F2008.

I agree with Bill that there is a seriously bad typo in the description
though. I will fix this in the next revision.

Cheers,

Subject: (j3.2006) num_images() ?

Hi,

After an image has failed or stopped, what does num_images return?

Is it the number of images that started?
Or the number of non-failed, non-stopped images still standing?

Or some other number?

TIA, Alessandro asked, and num_images description in 16-007r2
seems not to anticipate these circumstances.
