Right.  I was looking at pages 310 and 311, subclause 15.4.3.7,
constraints C1522-C1528, and rather than reading all the constraints in
detail, I put the cursor on page 310 and searched for "interface-name",
expecting to find the relevant one.  It gave me R1514, R1517, C1528, and
15.4.3.7p2.  I also searched for "explicit interface" instead of
"explicit" and didn't find "explicit 8 interface" in C1522, but I did
find "explicit interface" in 15.4.3.7p7.

I should have read all the constraints.

Having the ability to do electronic searches subverts and sabotages our
inclination to do more laborious visual searches.
