Wow - advocating institutional cafeterias over a hotel restaurant.  Terrible tradeoff. 

The Buff used to have great breakfasts.   Probably just a bit too far out of the way to conveniently walk from the hotel.   Google says 0.7 miles, but I think if you are willing to walk through parking lots that can be reduced by almost half.
