There are 3 similar subclauses:

8.1.8.3 (SELECT CASE)

8.1.9.4 (SELECT RANK)

8.1.10.3 (SELECT TYPE)

One could argue that the content in 8.1.9.4 should be converted to NOTES.  Otherwise, I don?t see it as an anomaly.
