The next unscheduled WG5 meeting is in 2018.

The most recent email I have on a potential 2018 reunion proposal was:

It at some time there is an opening in the meeting schedule and sufficient interest, I volunteer to host a meeting in the San Francisco Bay Area. I would of course try to recruit Bob Corbett to co-host with me. I get steep discounts on a nice meeting venue in downtown Oakland (https://oakland.impacthub.net/event-space-san-francisco-bay-area/), where hotels are less expensive than San Francisco, but San Francisco is only a 20-minute subway ride away.

Interestingly, the current edition of CS&E is on ?NERSC: 40 Years and Counting?. A tour of NERSC would be a good ?hook? for a reunion meeting. I suspect a lot of the ex-members have some connection to NERSC. It will still be there in 2018.

Cheers,
Bill

And reply from Damian:

I?m sure a NERSC tour can be arranged. Alessandro and I toured NERSC just last month. And 2018 works for me. :)
