(j3.2006) Pointers, arguments, and the TARGET attribute

12.5.2.4p8-12 discuss the relationship between effective arguments, 
dummy arguments, the TARGET attribute, and how the targets and 
definition status of pointers associated with the effective argument and 
dummy argument are related.

Should these paragraphs also explicitly cover the cases of pointers 
associated with subobjects of the effective and dummy arguments?

For example, suppose one has scalar effective and dummy arguments of 
derived type, both have the TARGET attribute, and the effective argument 
is not a coindexed object, then is a pointer that is associated with a 
component of the effective argument also associated with that component 
of the dummy argument?  Does a pointer that is associated with a 
component of the dummy argument and does not become undefined remain 
associated with that component of the effective argument?
