Here is a revised preliminary result of the WG5 straw ballot on N2040,
now including this conclusion:

"The ballot has failed. I request J3 to consider all the comments and
prepare a revised version for final approval by WG5 and submission to
SC22 for PDTS ballot."

Please let me know by Sat 24 January at 9 a.m. (UK time) of any errors 
or omissions.
