I?ve been meaning to send this for some time:

Full disclosure: this was published by a new media company that is led by my best friend who is non-technical and was unaware of the importance of Fortran in my work until the day before the article ran so I played no role in this other than that I spoke with the author the night before the article appeared.  He expressed some interest in writing a follow-up piece on modern Fortran, but I haven?t heard anything further.
