Also, after Fortran, the language that probably has the most use of array operations is C++/Boost which is curiously also not mentioned. Maybe the organizers need a dollar and directions to Jake?s.
It seems to be for theoreticians, not practitioners. It reminds me of the time around 1970 when every Tom, Dick and Harry was designing a language which was supposedly better than existing languages. Maybe they were, but the costs of launching and replacing existing languages were totally ignored.
