(j3.2006) (SC22WG5.5323) Status and Content of Friends of J3 List? (Was: J3/012 - friends of J3)

Everyone:

            It has been several days since I asked the questions in my reply below and I
have not received any answer yet.  What will be the content of the Friends of J3 List
(014-012) this year and going forward?  Will it include the persons who were on the list
in 2008 and before?  Will it include LinkedIn contact information?

 

            FWIW, I believe that the Friends of J3 List should include any persons who
support the work of PL22.3, the Fortran Standard Technical Committee.

 

            Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns that
you may have.  I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Stan and Everyone Else:

            I noticed that my contact information is not on the current list of Friends of
J3 that you sent out a few hours ago.  Please add my name back in.  I no longer have the
old phone numbers that were included in the 2008 version of Friends of J3 (08-012) and I
do not use the e-mail address in that version.  Please use the contact information below
in my signature.

 

            I also noticed that the Friends of J3 list is greatly reduced from the list in
2008 and prior years.  Those lists had sections for WG5 Contacts and General Contacts in
addition to Former J3 Members.  Should these contacts be added back in?

 

            Also, many people use LinkedIn for professional networking.  Should the
Friends of J3 list also include LinkedIn contact information for those people willing to
provide it?

Hi - please find attached a draft update to the J3 standing document 012 - friends of J3.
I just wanted to check on e-mail addresses and contact info for the people on this list.
