Van and Everyone Else:

            Good question.  Unless there is a explicit language somewhere else, it appears
that this is an oversight.  It looks like interp material.

 

            It appears to me from the context that the rule for a BLOCK construct should
be the same as for an internal procedure or module procedure.

 

            Van, perhaps you should write up an interp about this issue and circulate it
to the people on this mailing list.
