I and Malcolm are still clearly at cross-purposes.  

Unfortunately, I have several sets of desperately urgent work to do by
last Friday, so cannot give this the detailed attention it needs right
now.  I shall try to produce something that achieves progress with them
(offline) on my issues as soon as I have a moment.
