Hi,
I should probably elaborate a bit.
I'm trying to move the server from GMU to NCAR.
This will require several days at best.
Please do not post any papers unless you specifically tell me
so I can ensure your paper is copied to the new server.
Please do not post an email if you especially want the email
to be in the archive.
I'm copying the server and this requires hours,
even with the speed of networks available at GMU and NCAR.
The good news is that the disks appear to be intact
as of late last week. At least, meeting 197 appears to be whole.
I'm sorry for the disruption and I'm doing my best to recover
the service we all expect.
I will advise when service has stabilized and we can resume
our normal practices.
I think it's entirely in order to relax the two week rule
for 198 due to the circumstances. I concur that votes in progress
should have their deadlines extended (but that decision
belongs to the party running the vote).
