(j3.2006) (SC22WG5.4355) How many Fortran programmers are there?

A related question was asked tonight at the "programming models for
GPUs BOF" at supercomputing, specifically, "how many of you
programming in Fortran/C/C++. Roughly 30-40% were Fortran developers.
However, this was just the HPC community.
Also related: I've been told that 80-90% of the Cray cycles at Oak
Ridge are Fortran applications. 100% of our main production codes at
LANL are in Fortran and roughly 50% of DOD codes are in Fortran.
However, from my experience, new codes tend not to be written in Fortran.
