(j3.2006) J3 016, 006, and interps [was RE: Constraint question: Regarding F2003 vs. F2008]

Tobias,

J3/016 is a file of the interps leading to F2003 corrigendum 1. Note 017, 021, and 022. I haven't posted the file for corrigendum 5 yet.

The current 006 is 09-006Ar1, which is new enough to tell you what is pending for F03/0109, the interp you were questioning. I have tried to find all of the latest "failing" comments from ballots that the current interps have failed so we have a chance of understanding what still has to be fixed.

I'll get 10-006Ar1 posted for the next J3 meeting in Jun-2010, m192. We're done with interps for F2003 so all of the still open interps have to be reinterpreted against F2008 and the answered.

I'm also working on a standing document that will contain all of the f2003 interps and Malcolm is working on an updated 018 to include change pages to F2003 for corrigendum 5.

There's a lot of paperwork for J3 just to keep everything straight. If you have more questions, please let me know.

/Stan

Hi Bill,

Thanks a lot for the quick response.

That was the file I was looking for but I could not find. I had the
(correct) feeling that WG5 decided differently, but I had some search
problems for 04-007, where Acrobat seemingly only found C1209 in the
(informative) Annex but not in the main part of the standard (actually
it is also in 12.3.2.1), which puzzled me.

Can http://j3-fortran.org/doc/standing/links/ be updated?
http://j3-fortran.org/doc/standing/links/016.txt is
much older than http://j3-fortran.org/doc/year/10/10-006A.txt

Thanks!

Tobias
