Yes. Bill quoted the text but as the person that proposed MOLd the
intent was exactly to provide a way to get default initialization
without copying all the stuff (e.g., allocatable components) in the source.
I am not sure I understood your question, but here is an attempt:
Default initialization should be one of the entries in the vtable. I
think there will be other places where this is necessary as it kicks in.
