I powered of my laptop whenever I left my hotel to Fairfield.  My laptop 
remained off for over 20 minutes while I drove on I-15 before getting to 
the meeting room.  Then I powered on my laptop from the meeting room.  The 
machine found the wireless server in 15 seconds and got connected even 
before I noticed.  But I never able to log onto vpn.  This didn't seem to 
be a cache issue to me.
