(j3.2006) How far is Fortran 2003 conformance in compilers ?

As Malcolm states there is an article (more or less recurrent)
in Fortran Forum on compiler conformance to the f2003 standard.

I'm just finishing off the August edition of Fortran Forum
(a little late) and there will be a new version in that edition.

we've also added 2008 as some vendors have indicated that they
will not be fully implementing 2003 before starting with
some of the 2008 functionality.

Jane makes available earlier versions of this table at the fortranplus site.

http://www.fortranplus.co.uk/

and the various fortran information files can be found under

http://www.fortranplus.co.uk/fortran_info.html

we have entries in the current version for

cray
gfortran
g95
ibm
intel
nag
sun

the other compiler people haven't replied
to requests from us for information in this area.

polyhedron have tables of compiler comparisons at their
site and they cover conformance to the f95 standard.

this includes information from

absoft
lahey
pathscale
pgi
salford/silverfrost

the August fortran forum also mentions some of the other
compiler people, taken from other sources.

hope this helps
