(j3.2006) WG23 Fortran Annex Draft

Dan:
Why should this draft be restricted only to current members of J3?
I would think that non-members would be interested in the interaction
between the definition of Fortran and various programming language
vulnerabilities and may even have some useful insights.

I would like you to please submit your draft as a regular J3 paper
and post it on the J3 server for everyone to read. Perhaps give it a title
along the lines of, "Draft Response of WG5/J3 to WG23 About Fortran-Specific
Programming Language Vulnerabilities".

Sincerely,
Craig T. Dedo

Subject: (j3.2006) WG23 Fortran Annex Draft

Hello,

I have put Fortran_Annex.txt in the Tutorials folder
in the members area on the server. I will forward it to the WG23
Editor,
hopefully, this week. I would appreciate any comments anyone
has the time to make.

Please recall that this is Not a free-form coding style sheet.

Rather, it is a Fortran-specific list corresponding to the items
in WG23's TR 24772, available from http://www.aitcnet.org/isai/
(click on "Documents" in the left frame, then download n0191.pdf
from the documents page).

(For item 6.X, the corresponding item is Fortran.3.X.)
You may ignore the [XXX], they are meaningless.

WG23 should discuss this at the Ottawa meeting, July this year.
J3 can discuss the results of that discussion during 189.

We're a bit behind schedule, but I've been busy,
and so has WG5/J3. :-)

TIA

Cheers!
