But there's a difference between "support coarray" (Cray already does)
and "support standard coarray" (implies a feature that multiple vendors/users
have agreed to, for which a complete and stable specification exists, with
an expectation that users can portably move codes across vendors).
The goal is to make the hard decisions that smooth over differences between
vendors to get a standard feature. That's the prize that makes
building a coarray implementation worthwhile for both users and vendors.
