External activities (or lack thereof) could prompt the removal of  a 
feature. Ditching the radix argument to ieee_selected_real_kind  is a 
candidate since there is no relevant IEEE document to reference.  Also, 
it seemed that the discussion of the new special functions might be 
incomplete.  However, overall, I agree with Van's comment.  Deliberately 
looking for things to exclude was the task a while ago; now the focus 
should be on polish and integration.

I do find Dan's characterization of co-arrays as a "little thing" 
interesting.
