Thanks, Dan and Steve, for the responses document 08-272.

I have formally notified each of the six public commentors.
By "formally" I mean that I used the full phrase "Thank you" again. 8)

I have closed down the response alias f2008-ballot-comments-ext at Sun.com.
Responses between July 6 and now have received a "thank you, you're late"
reply.  Future mail to the alias will simply receive a bounce.

Since "comments is comments", would anyone like to see late comments 
forwarded to this alias or submitted as meeting papers?  
There really aren't very many (one or two I think).
