That brings back memories! I worked in Chicago (at IIT Research
Institute) on the development of APT over 40 years ago and was in
charge of the (British) team that produced the first implementation
of what was to be called APT IV. Long before it was standardised, of
course. It was why I had to learn Fortran!
Those were the days (;-)
