Is a program that declares an explicit type for a specific
name for a standard intrinsic function conforming if the
declared type is different from the type of the standard
intrinsic function?
Paragraph 3 of Section 5.2.1 of CD 1539-1 makes it clear
that an explicit type declaration for a generic instrinsic
name has no effect. The same paragraph states that the
name of a specific intrinsic function can be explicitly
typed, but it does not say if the type must match the
type of the specific intrinsic function.
