Dear Mr. Davis,

I am forwarding to you a letter from IFIP's Working Group 2.5 (Numerical 
Software) regarding the proposed revision of the IEEE 754 arithmetic 
standard.  The Working Group realizes that it is very late in the 
process, undoubtedly too late, for it to make its opinion know.  The 
Working Group felt that is was important for it to do so nonetheless. 
The attached letter is the result.
