Hi folks,
07-007r1 is now available on the J3 web site,
in PDF, PostScript (bzipped) and LaTeX source (tar-bzipped).
NOTE: I have replaced the text version with a note saying not to use it,
because the text version is worthless. If you want to search, I
recommend the source files (or just search the PDF, most viewers
can do that). Those who really want the text version, unsuitable
as it is for anything serious, can
(a) use pdftotext themselves to make it;
(b) use their PDF viewer to write a text file;
(c) build it from the sources - this is exactly equivalent to (a);
(d) use a different tool for converting PDF/PS/LaTeX to text/html;
(e) as a last resort, contact me and I'll email it to you.
Yes, I really don't want a text version on the web site as it confuses,
especially given our "text version is the official version" policy.
As far as I am concerned, the PDF is the official version full stop.
(It is, after all, the version ISO will print.)
We can discuss this policy at meeting 180 if anyone disagrees.
I've also uploaded the files I emailed back in January, with the 179-mjc-nnn
placeholders fixed to be the real numbers; these are as follows.
179-mjc-001 is 07-175.
179-mjc-002 is 07-176.
179-mjc-003 is 07-177.
07-008 is 07-008.
07-011 is 07-011.
These are mostly of historical interest except to those who didn't read the
versions I emailed, for whom they may be of hysterical interest.
I have also uploaded
07-011r1
07-178: editor's report part 1
07-179: editor's report part 2
07-180: changes to standing document 011 (producing 011r1)
07-178 is mostly from Van entering the papers etc.
07-179 is entirely from my review.
Cheers,
