(j3.2006) Do C_PTR and C_FUNPTR have pointer components

I'd be inclined to think so, but I don't have any examples ready at hand.

Thinking out loud: a C pointer can be much simpler than a Fortran pointer.
E.g. it might be reasonable for a Fortran pointer to include an
explicit rank component while a C pointer does not.
If a C_PTR has a pointer component which has an explicit rank,
can one possibly prove then that a C_PTR is bigger than a C pointer ?

One can and should be silent about many things in the standard. But I'm
nervous about outright lying!
