(j3.2006) Proposal on interval arithmetic to be presented at Dagstuhl

IFIP WG 2.5 has prepared a proposal to amend IEEE 754r to include
specifications for optional interval arithmetic and exact arithmetic.

If anybody wants the proposal that Ulrich Kulisch will discuss with
members of IEEE P754 at Dagstuhl Seminar 08021 "Numerical Validation in
Current Hardware Architectures" next month, I can send it to you.  The
proposal is posed as an amendment to IEEE P754 draft 1.5.0, which I can
also send.
